Right now

I'm CEO and co-founder of Earthchain, an AI-native platform that turns the documents a business already has (invoices, utility bills, freight records) into traceable emissions data, with agents that collect and check the evidence along the way.

Before that I spent twenty years in payments technology: card authorisation systems at ACI Worldwide, solution architecture at Credit Suisse, and twelve years at Infraxis building mission-critical payments software for international financial institutions, latterly as Head of Product Development.

Outside work I sail single-handed on the north-east coast and build software and electronics for boats.
